I have been running with Asics for the last 5 years and struggling with shin splints for the last two. I run 40k a week with my longer run being around 20k. During the last two years everyday after my long run my shin hurted like hell, despite all the icing, resting, stretching and all the things those who suffer of shin splints already know.Last week I decided to give Adidas a chance and went with the Supernova glide 6. Yesterday I did 21k and for my surprise this morning I had ZERO pain in my shins!!!! I was so happy....Im also experiencing pain in other muscles of my legs, pretty much like the day after a heavy routine in the gym, I believe this is due to using some of muscles I was just not using with the Asics, which was probably reinforcing my shin issues. All in all, I'm positively surprised by this pair of Adidas and I only wonder why did not change the Asics earlier.I just wish the had a little more room for the toes and that some 4E sizing was available.
