I still remember my dreaded leather golf shoes of old... So heavy, so stiff, built like tanks and lasted forever but so uncomfortable... Your foot had to conform to the show, not the other way around... 5 rounds were barely enough to 'break them in'... Waterproof meant your feet would macerate for 5 hours while on a course... A real joy...Well, these days are looong gone, especially when you consider the Adidas Puremotion Golf shoes...I wore them for the first time last weekend straight out of the box for a full (walked) round... No issues...Pros: - very light, - very flexible, - waterproof yet breathable - great traction on grass/sand/dirt - good arch support (I have flat feet so that's important for me, and a point of worry before I tired them) - surprisingly stable platform for plenty of energy transfer during your swingCons (no biggies at all): - sized small - you need to buy a half size bigger that normal - a bit slippery on concrete - I almost ate it on a downhill wet patch... So stay off the cart paths...
I actually used these soccer cleats for softball.They kept me from slipping around on the dirt or grass.They fit perfectly without being too tight.They aren't the most comfortable shoe out there, but for the price (which was far less than most cleats out there) you get your money's worth.
