These were cheaper than on the actual adidas website and they are pretty nice looking. I plan on rockin these for awhile. They arrived ahead of schedule and are in great condition"
This was an unwanted change-up from my previous pair of Adidas Microbounce FH08s, but had no choice as they were out of production. For context, my last run was 7.5 miles (1hr, 13min) on March 2nd.I'm not breaking any land-speed records here, but still consider this a capble running shoe.Likes: - Weight:These weigh quite a bit less than my previous pair of running shoes - Comfort: Very little time required to break in/get comfortable - Tracking Dongle:There's a compartment under the insole of one shoe to place a run trackerDislikes: - Color Options: I'm not a fan of white on running shoes, especially around the sole and on the bottom - Lace Stability:I've run into this with my other Adidas shoes; laces don't like to stay tied.Double-knotOthers: - Moisture Barrier:Since so much of the material is mesh composite, the shoes dry/air out quickly, mitigating the amount of foot flavor. But stay out of standing water/snow, otherwise you end up with soggy socks. - Fit/Finish:It initially felt like I got sent a bunk pair of shoes since they were so thin, but less material means less weight on your feet. The Microbounces were built like Norwegian tanks, and probably better suited for trails, so I was expecting a lot more padding/cushioning/bulk.Since my current pair of Adizeros are approaching their mileage limit, I'm shopping around for another pair.FYI, the shoes I have now were ordered directly from the Adidas.com website for about $60 shipped.Amazon isn't always the cheapest - shop around.If/when I get my next pair, the current F2s will probably stay on as a gym shoe/emergency set.Hope this was informative.
Adidas is a name that stands for excellence in all sectors of sport around the globe. The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has become a reality, and his corporate philosophy has been the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant: to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War. Today, the Adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel, and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.
