These were bought for my husband who is 72 and has taken up Taikwondo.He cannot go barefoot because of his neuropathy and the "clunky" sneakers he was using I just felt were hindering his ability to move properly.So I surprised him with these and the difference in his footwork is noticeable.Cannot compare them to another pair.For now, these are great.He loves them and has had people ask him where he bought them.
I loved these shoes initially for the first month or so, then the cushioning basically went bye-bye, but I decided to keep wearing them for a while. Well, that decision cost me, as I developed plantar fasciitis and it lasted for about a year. Believe me, you do not want plantar fasciitis. It is very painful. I basically had to wear shoes with a big arch at all times to finally cure myself. Otherwise, these shoes look cool and felt great when they were up to snuff.

Bought these socks because I liked the way they look, but am even happier with how they fit. A little softer than other wicking socks, and therefore more comfortable.Top of the sock is pretty shear, which is cooler in the summer (haven't worn in the winter, not sure if it would be cold).
