I purchased these approach shoes solely based on price, and have fallen in love with them. They seem to fit true to size, but being an approach shoe; you may want to size them a bit tight and let them break in a little. I measure out a size 12, usually wear 11.5, and picked these up in a size 11. They broke in to be perfect (not too tight for hiking to the crags, but tight enough to do some grade 5 scrambling). The Traxion rubber sticks well when dry, but offers no grip at all when wet. The sole is stiff and supportive for low grade climbing/scrambling. The Terrex solo is laced far down the toe to give a custom fit, and the quick lacing system works well. I only have to pull the laces at the top and the whole shoe cinches up. The molded tongue, and materials used inside the shoe make it incredibly supportive, and comfortable. In fact, these shoes have made Adidas a top choice for any shoe need. I'm glad they included the heel pull loop on the back; not because they're hard to get on, but it allows you to hook them on a carabiner, and carry them easily when you're not wearing them.Pros:1. Similar style to Samba, but the Samoa has more cushion on the sole and offers a soft leather top.The rubber toe is convenient, when running around and bumping into things.When walking around at times, it feels as if you're foot can slightly shift from left to right, instead of staying directly over the thick sole.This is probably since the leather upper is so soft.However, this is not an inconvenience since its such a slight shift.You never feel pain when walking around in a pair of Samoa's since the cushion of the rubber sole is so strong and the actual inner sole is made with slight ridges for extra comfort and stability.Samoa's last a long time and remain comfortable for the entire time you own them.

Alright I'm stuck on Adidas, you can keep your Chuck's n your J's I want mine Adidas. I really want to give 5 stars but can't they're too tight and I don't even tie them. Others have reviewed them saying the fit runs small and they do, but no one said they're narrow.I ordered 1/2 size over my normal size 11 and that was about right so I just hope I break in the width over time. Just a heads up I got these for my work uniform but DANG!! I'm sliding all around when I go thru the kitchen. Not the product's fault though not what they're purposed for. Still I like 'em.
